Not only was our good friend, Steve Soboslai, featured on Fox’s “Mobbed” last week but there was also a Before You Sticker Sighting!! Look closely at Paul Menotiades’ guitar case and you can see a sticker with “B4U” printed on it. Just thought we’d share that with you. Pretty neat, I’d say. If you haven’t picked up Punchline’s new EP, “So Nice to Meet You”, you must do so and check out the episode of Mobbed if you haven’t seen it yet :-)
Hello everyone!
It’s your best pal from Before You, Phil! Some big things have happened and will be happening in our world and we are truly excited to be filling you in on them.
As you may have known, our EP Release Party was announced today by Drusky Entertainment. It will be at The Smiling Moose on February 17th at 6:00pm. We are so stoked to have Eleventyseven, Mace Ballard, The Catastrophe and Red Hands joining us for our special day :-) We really hope everyone can make it out since we have been working so hard on our EP. It’s only going to be $8 and that’s a hell of a price for a hell of a line-up. We’ll be getting tickets shortly, so stay tuned!
On another note, Christmas is approaching quick and we have a huge show with our great buds The Spacepimps this Thursday, Dec. 22nd at Altar Bar. Also, joining us are our friends My Cardboard Spaceship Adventure, Look Out Loretta & Dash City Skyline. We only have a few tickets left but if you’re on the South Side tomorrow night and you hit us up (@BeforeYouRock), you may get lucky ;-) They’re $10 and going fast! I’m pretty sure I sent a Facebook update about the music video but if you didn’t hear, we obviously haven’t made the video for “Anatomy of Your Thoughts” yet. We can’t even start to express our gratitude to those of you who donated and don’t worry, the money is in safe keeping and we will be shooting when the weather gets nice again. Thanks so much for your support and your patience.
Well, I hope you enjoyed the update and we hope to see you soon whether it’s this Thursday or a random night on the street. Maybe we can have a high five or a hug.

Happy Fall!
That’s right. It’s my favorite time of the year. The leaves are changing, football & hockey are back, the air is starting to cool down & our EP is almost done! I know we have been saying that for a while now but all we have left to do is put finishing touches down, have it mixed & mastered, then, that’s all folks! We have been working extremely hard on our EP and hope that doesn’t go unnoticed once you all finally hear it! Also, there are a few little surprises on it that you will have to make sure you listen carefully for ;-) We will have a new song up before you know it and your hearts will be happy along with your ears. Once the time rolls around when we get our EP sent out for mastering (within the next few weeks), we will shortly thereafter announce the date & details of our EP RELEASE SHOW!!!
Speaking of shows, we were recently added to The Spacepimps’ Holiday Extravaganza on December 22nd @ Altar Bar featuring My Cardboard Spaceship Adventure, Look Out Loretta, Dash City Skyline & yours truly, Before You! If you have any suggestions on a Christmas Song that you would like to hear us cover, leave us a shout on our Facebook Wall or on twitter (@BeforeYouRock) and if we like it enough, we’ll play it and give you a dedication at the show! Onto the video… The music video shoot for “Anatomy of Your Thoughts”, due to scheduling conflicts & imminent rough weather conditions for the rest of the year, is most likely going to be pushed back to the spring. Stay tuned for more on this topic and we apologize for any broken promises/dreams in this regard.
